A. Batty asked which bridge and was told that it is both the ramp and link bridges.

(b) B. Hobbs asked if there had been any meetings of the Standish Street traders and J. Humphrey said not at the moment.

(c) There are concerns about traffic coming out of the Gym onto Kingsway because it blocks the traffic waiting at the lights. The lights only let a few vehicles through at a time and the Kingsway road markings prevent vehicles at the lights from blocking the car park entrance.

(d) B. Hobbs said that the flower shop had been very busy for Mothers’ Day and J. Humphrey said that she had been busy too; her customers come from surrounding towns and suggested that Charter Walk should help with promoting the Standish Street traders. B. Hobbs said that this was a two way situation and that people come for both independent and large stores, each needing the other.

(e) B. Hobbs noted that the back wall of Charter Walk after the passageway leading to Standish Street looked like the end of town!
